Parks and Recreation Workshop Meeting Minutes of Monday, May 21, 2012

New Business
• Banners at Park, Types/Size/Quantity
Little League advertising banners are not according to town bylaws. The Size is larger than allowed and content is Alcohol related. No one approach Marty or P&R regarding changing of the size of the banners or the content just did it on their own. Billie stated that a letter needs to be sent to NRLL with the bylaws and regulations regarding banners at the fields. Marty has spoken to NRLL.
Also, there has been some consumption of alcohol going on at the Little League field. Marty has addressed it with NRLL. Billie stated that a letter should be written to NRLL stating No Alcohol regulations and it should be forwarded to all the parents of NRLL that are attending events/games/practices. Rita stated that Marty should inform NRLL that it should stop immediately or their permit will be revoked. Rita would also like for NRLL to attend a Recreation meeting.

• Skate Park Open Meeting (RM)
Recapped Open Skate Park meeting with the public tonight and stated that we need to make a new date for another public open meeting. See Open Public Meeting for Skate Park Minutes.
